In the midst of his summer break, Josh, a 2nd year college student, is invited over for a birthday road trip from his childhood best friend, Rex. Before long, the pair find themselves taking refuge in a nearby motel after their car broke down. Tired from the day's drive, the two fall asleep, but unlike waking up to the familiar walls of their room, they wake up in a strange facility. As they navigate through the floors, both of them piece together the reason why they were imprisoned in the first place and parts of themselves that were previously unknown.

This was a really cool game! I really enjoyed the pixel-y art style and music choices (especially in the credits), and the story always kept me guessing. I loved the relationship between the two main characters as well, the final scene in Ending D (which I interpret as the “true” ending) was really heartwarming :’)
One small thing though, whenever you try to progress through the game without completing certain objectives (e.g. if you don’t read the large book in the library a second time before going to the elevator, or if you don’t disable the controls in the CCTV room before the final confrontation) it allows you to go through the door and leads to a black screen with no way to progress further.
Thank you so much for your feedback! :-) It was a blast to hear that since it was a bit of a delicate balance to do with the whole mystery & foreshadowing of things. I'll try to fix those bugs once I get the time to do so. Thank you for reporting them!
